Covering: Bishop George G. Bloomer

Dawn Jones serves as Senior Pastor of Beth'-el Family Worship Center. Her pure passion for people is evident in her local ministry's mission to Make Mature Followers of Jesus Christ in Douglas, Georgia and around the World.

   Mission

BFWC is committed to sharing our faith with the lost in Douglas and with those in every nation, tribe and language.

We purpose to encourage, support, train, and mature believers so that they may in turn mature, train, support and encourage others.

We believe that the assembled church's primary responsibility is to provide a place of corporate worship for followers of Christ (Col. 3:16) that they may be strengthened together through studying God's Word via relevant Biblical preaching and teaching, fellowship, regularly partaking of the Lord's Supper and prayer (Acts 2:42).

"To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke." Isaiah 58:6

   Vision & Goals

Share the Good News of Jesus Christ with Every Person Living in Douglas Georgia.

BFWC is committed to praying for, reaching out to, and encouraging the residents of Douglas Georgia. We envision every boy, girl, man and woman in Douglas, Georgia worshipping the true God.

We further desire to see a dynamic youth ministry, a relevant adult ministry, a support ministry for singles, an energetic children's program, and a thriving daycare, all for the glory of God.

We will reach souls and disciple them for the Kingdom of God as a ministry of deliverance, healing and victory. We will teach and train leaders and laity to become ministry resources for the church, community, and the world.

Practical Objectives

Fulfilling the Great Commission through Ministry, Nourishment & Growth, Discipleship Training, Evangelism, Fellowship, Worship, and Missions.

    What We Believe

We believe that God is the Father Almighty and that He is maker of Heaven and earth as the scriptures have said. We believe in Jesus, that He is the only begotten Son of the Father. He is the way, the truth and the life. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. On the third day, He rose from the dead and declared victory over the grave, death and hell. He has gone back to the Father to prepare a place for us in His kingdom. He will come back as He promised to judge the world and to deliver the righteous. We believe in the Holy Ghost, the Christian Church, the Communion of Saints, and the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and eternal life for all true believers. Amen.
